Weird Little World Print / Tigersheep Friends

This piece started with green grass and some green trees but I got a little bored. It was like " now what?" I didn't know what to do with it. So the empty picturesque scene lay dormant in my sketchbook for 6 months. Don't get me wrong, grass and trees are beautiful. But they weren't scratching the itch. Months later I picked it back up, determined to finish the pieces. I had no plan. One thing lead to another and this weird little world was born. Maybe I blacked out?? I don't really know for sure. The painting is such a culmination of all my childhood muses hardly know where to begin. Hope it resonates with you too! In this totally "normal" park, there are some old friends along with some new ones. I 'd like to go there some day and meet them in person. I'll try and remember to bring poop bags for my tiny horse. This is a print of an original painting by Sarah Walsh. All prints are signed and dated by the artist.

art print / Couch-a-corn

I love unicorns. I was obsessed as a kid and still am. I'm also in love with the idea of magical creatures hiding in the corners of our "normal" world, waiting to be discovered by a person who's willing to believe. You can buy the print here.

Tote Bag / Blue Q

Painting mushrooms is therapeutic to me. They’re so magical, medicinal and one of the coolest things on our planet in my humble opinion. I was asked by the inimitable Blue Q to design a pattern and tote bag based on a little mushroom painting in my sketchbook.

A piece I felt 100 % compelled to do during covid based on a sign at a Japanese amusement park. This saying resonated with me so much. Available for purchase here.
